Biography
Poli Angelova was born in 1976 in Usogorsk, Russia. She graduated from “Film and TV directing” at New Bulgarian University. Her diploma film is the documentary “Specialists”, tutored by prof. Georgi Djulgerov, production of Bulgarian national TV.
In February 2007 she takes part in the 5th Berlinale Talent Campus in the framework of Berlinale film festival and in August 2007 she participates in a master class of film producing led by Chedomir Kolar at the 1st Sarajevo Talent Campus.
From 2004 to 2008 Poli Angelova is the coordinator of Sofia Meetings: the only international forum for film professionals, producers and directors in Bulgaria, held in parallel to Sofia Intl. Film Festival.
